The 16th Annual Art on the Avenue, is a juried fine arts and crafts festival featuring national and regional artists showing and selling their creations on Penn Avenue in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Each year thousands of people are drawn to Art on the Avenue as the event continues to grow. Located in the Greater Reading hub for arts, culture, shopping and dining, this event appeals to both novice buyers and experienced art patrons. Additionally the venue features live music, street performers, local businesses and specialty foods. Art on the Avenue takes place on Penn Avenue, West Reading, situated in Greater Readings hub for arts, culture, shopping and dinning, the event appeals to a diverse crowd of buyers, professionals, and families seeking an interactive, educational and fun arts environment.

They have wonderful coffee which they roast themselves!!Also there is yummy baked goods. There will be no reception for this show. The artwork can be viewed during regular coffee shop hours.

There will be new jewelry featured as well. I have new Hand Sculpted Fine Silver, & Bronze jewelry pieces to show. There will be light refreshments at the reception, January 10, 2009, 2-4 pm. If you haven't been to the shop yet, you're in for a treat. This shop has something for just about everyone... apparel, gifts for the home, kid's stuff, jewelry, original artwork & crafts by local artists. There is lots to see, a great place for browsing!!! It is open to the public Friday, Nov.7 & Saturday, Nov.8 from 10 - 8 pm & Sunday, Nov. 9 from 12 - 4 pm
